What this is

I work with Data/AI vendors in two phases:

  1. Paid evaluation first (structured, time-boxed, repeatable).
  2. If it’s a fit, optional sponsorship to my audience (newsletter, podcast, YouTube, LinkedIn) with clear deliverables and disclosure.

The evaluation comes first to determine whether your product is a strong fit for my audience and channels. It gives you an honest assessment before any sponsorship discussion, helps avoid wasted spend on the wrong message or placement, and ensures that any promotion is credible and worthwhile for both sides. Independent of any sponsorship decision, the evaluation also provides candid feedback on product quality, positioning, onboarding, and technical credibility.
